It’s tomorrow, in case you’ve forgotten. Then again, if you’re one of my readers there is a very good chance that you haven’t forgotten. I wish I could say that for more people, but it seems now that we’ve won in Iraq and seem to be giving up in Afghanistan, it’s safe for people to go back to being complacent and forget about the sacrifices made by oh so many members of our military over the years. Not just in the current war, but before that all the way back to the Revolution. The 200 plus year tradition of citizens (and even non citizens) standing up to protect this nation and dying in the process continues to this day. It will continue into the future or there will be no future for the United States.
A lot of people have laid down their lives to defend the way we live.
That’s something that we should never, ever, forget.
