Somebody Should Start A Blog

Specifically a blog about the ongoing train wreck that is DC FEMS.

I’m on vacation, more about that later on, so I’ll keep this brief.

First, an ambulance assigned to a Presidential Motorcade RUNS OUT OF FUEL!

Dave Statter as usual, does a great job covering this. He doesn’t blog about DC FEMS full time, but he probably could.

At least if it’s out of gas it can’t catch fire as a couple of DC FEMS ambulances have in recent days.

I’d say that DC FEMS is turning in to a national joke, but the truth is it’s been a national joke even since before the fire department took it over to “improve” the service.

After a long career as a field EMS provider, I'm now doing all that back office stuff I used to laugh at. Life is full of ironies, isn't it? I still live in the Northeast corner of the United States, although I hope to change that to another part of the country more in tune with my values and beliefs. I still write about EMS, but I'm adding more and more non EMS subject matter. Thanks for visiting.
